Thursday, March 30, 2006 My craziest day ever..!Went to Adventure world! check out what kinda rides I took at this webby: www.adventureworld.net.au The rampage was the best ride ever!!! Wasn;t too sure whether I should.. But decided to give it a go anyway... Its crazy!! It goes 360deg!!.. And spins u round n round, forward, backward, raised up, really low, side ways... Wow!!! Was screaming my lungs out man!! This is the first time in nearly a Decade that I went to a theme park!! This is the first time I did ALL the rides... Even those really crazy crazy one... I'm amazed!!!!!!!!!! HAha.. It was quite fun.. But kinda over-rated... like the commercial all.. But it was all that exciting.. Only afew rides were worth... ^^ I'm burnt... Lost.IN.Translation. Sunday, March 26, 2006 This will be a Long long long LONG entry.... Read only if U have time.. HAha.. But mostly Pictures...My Road trip Down South DAy ONE... We left Student Village on Saturday, 18th of March... Early in the wee hours of the moning.. HAha.. No lah.. about 10am... Then... Long 6 hours car ride to Albany.. In between we had lunch at one of a small town's petrol kiosk...   Haapy, with our lunch, we tumbled back into the car... And when we thought its all safe...  Spot the ghost behind US!!!!!! Later, the ghost also got in.. Tired from all the scaring.. She fell asleep...  I got bored along the way while the rest were playing cards, and took an unsignificant phot.. Well...  Finally!! We've arrived Albany.. And all there is to do for us now is to find our motel...  And So we did!!!  Afterwhich, we had a change of clothes and went in search for food... Hee...On the way, we saw the Dog ROck... A rock which is naturally shaped like a dog...  And had Hungry Jacks'(Burger King) for dinner... Gross.. I hate fast food... DAy TWo.... We were still in ALbany, and will be spending our second night in the same place.. that leaves us with alot of time to visit the many places of interest in Albany.. First of all, we went to the wind farm.. WHere there is alot of wind-mails... High tech ones... Called Turbo..  Only when I reached there, I knew I was afraid of heights.. On top of that, there was gusting winds.. And that thingie I was standing on was shaking very badly lah!! Then we headed back to the Strawberry Farm.. But turns out, its only a strawberry Hill, where the you go and see flowers.. Unwilling to pay that money to see only flowers, we headed for our next destination.. Of course, not without taking a photo first.. HAhah... On the way though, we saw this large ship, and decided to check it out.. TO our delightful surprise, we can actually get on the ship and tour around it!! So exciting I tell U!!! Its like a major playground! And I can actually feel how the sailors in the past live in that ship!! Cool~~!!      Yupz.. And off we are to THe Gap and Natural Bridge.. They were side by side.. ANd The gap is a huge split between humongous rocks by weathering and the Natural Bridge is formed by weathering too.. where the rock is weathered until only the top part is left, leaving the rock looking like a Bridge, thus the name... After all that walking and climbing of the rocks, we feel that the workout was not enough.. HAha.. SO we went to the Blow-holes. It is a tunnel in the rock, when a huge wave came in, the pressure is so high that the water bows out from the surface to a few metres high.. Unfortunately, that day the waves not strong enough.. so all we saw was splatters and strong wind coming out of the blow-hole... =( And so, we headed off to the whale world... Where we see how the whales were hunted in the past for their blubber... And there was this 3D movie after the whole tour.. but most of us were so tired, I think none of us saw the whole movie.. We kinda like fell asleep in the theater.. AHhaa... After that, was an exciting time!! HAhaA!! Coz i get to play the swing and the slide in Whale world!! WOohoo~!! Yupz Yupz.. What a busy schedule!! We have to rush off now to catch the sunset at Mount Clarence!! Hee.. And the starving gp of us hit town in search of food.. ANd settled for Rustler's Restaurant.. But not before we bought a nice bottle of white wine to go with our dinner... The restaurants here are all BYO, which means Bring Your Own... Alcohol.. No corkage.. haha.. so... Uhhmm.. Very good!! Karen, if only u were with us!! We will have so much more fun!! ^^ Shared this with Moon N june.. Superb Quality!! Both me N moon got the same.. The New yorker is a Sirloin Steak!! Woah! Its really good with generous helping of the salad... After dinner.. we went to procceed to gamble.. with Bailey's, milk, ice cream and Smiroff Twist... Hahah... DAy THree... We head off to Augusta, which will be the southern most part of Australia... Another long drive... We stopped at Mount Adelaide In the morning before we headed out of Albany to see the war memorial. Look at the picture below... Spot what's wrong.. haha!! They said this pic looks like I belong to the whole setting, like i was the wax figure made to show people how to use that thing from the past.. Lolz.. *faints* Along the way, we stopped at Wapole for the Tree-top Walk.. 40metres up.. SO scary~!! Then that 2 stoopid Eleen N June, walk behind me, purposely shake it so much.. I felt so nauseaous... I wanted to puke and shit at the same time!! HAha... Like so "sea-sick leh"!! Evil people.. HAha.. Wat was I thinking when I said I wannted to try sky diving?!! In the same area, we went to the Valley of the giants.. All the trees there are hollow or big gaps in the trunk where u can just walk through it.. SO cool!!! ANd at least, its on the ground... Yummy.. Alcohol made from honey.. Its really very smooth and sweet.. nice nice.. Hee.. I bought a total of 6 bottles.. fo baka, boss, myself and kang.. Hohoh... Its really really the best... ^^ Yupz.. then we got all crazy N lost.. hHaha... ANd we reached Augusta(a very very small town) so late.. And everyone was famished.. Luckily, the owner of the motel allowed us to chack in anytime.. If not.. We will have to sleep in the car.. Along the way, saw many wild kangeroos And killeed many many flies.. Tjat when we arrived, the who bonnet and headlights was covered with flies, wings, legs and blood.. Eeewww~!!! *Gross* But we finally did make it, but did not have a chance to look around that small town.. The motel was huge!! I wanna go there again.. Its called the Baywatch Manor..It has like 10spaces for people to sleep.. Even more, if we aqueezed, however, one room was super crammed and hot... with 4 of us in it... But it was cheap!! A$160 per nite.. can u imagine, 10beds, kitcehn, hall, tv, 2toilets,dvd player, all utensils provided and in good condition.. I MUST go there again!! This time with better company!! ^^ Yah, and we watch The Myth.. Some Jackie Chan movie with a not-so-good-looking korean girl... Nou was addicted to it lah... Made us teach her how to sing that theme song(Endless Love) throughout the whole of the next day that the song was stuck in all our heads.. SO when we hum.. u will hear its actually the same song!! AHhaa!! Well, The last day was pretty Stupid.. No idea why they are limiting our time.. When we don't have to rush for a motel check-in.. We are just going home!! But they Didn;t allow us to go to so many places in Magaret river... Just so the COntrolled road trip can be Within their COntrolled time frame... *Phuuph~!!**Rolls eyes* But we had some stupid fast food(Again!) at magaret river, all the way there to eat fast food! HA! And took a quick stop at The Berry Farm(which we nearly couldn't go too!) And the Diary Farm (had to coz the Hignesses wanted to.)Well, I like cheese anyway.. We went to the Leeuwin Lighthouse, which was the Southern most tip of Australia.. And is surrounded by dangerous waters because of the natural ridge under water forming a semi-circle around the whole cape, making waters really rough and impossible... That is also where the 2 oceans meet!! Soutern Ocean and Indian Ocean!! SO sweet right?! Like some kinda romantic love story!! ^^ *blush* After that, stopped at the Jewel cave(statlamite cave).. Which we nearly couldn't go coz "Their Highness" said it was expensive, no time, they wanna go to the beach instead.. Yadayada..yadayada... But we did!! And I saw a very Cute Jap guy!! MAture looking.. very manly.. abielt scrawny... But.. Hee.. Eye Candy!! *Beams* HOhO.... okie okie... After which, I fell asleep in the car until we reached Busselton Jetty.. Where they played in the water.. while I just chilled... However, it was so freaking cold later, and we wanted to warm up in the car... Lo And Behold, the car keys was with the two "Highnesses".. taking their own sweet time walking the 1km of the jetty.. leaving us freezing our butt off waiting a good 30mins.. How inconsiderate! But Busselton was he town Monique(my flat mate) is from.. SO its cool to be able to see where she came from... Finally!! Warmth in the car!! Drove all the way to MAndurah(where we went crabbing the other time)to have dinner.. Saw this CHinese Noodle shop, and instantly, I knew that is where I wanna eat!! And to my delight, Hee... they serve it in boxes!! U know those american shows.. where u see them eat chinese food out of the paper boxes.. where u can nv get it anywhere else?!! Yes!!! YAy~!!! AHahah.... SO i ate there.. MIne was really good... And so was Nou's.. HAha... And eleen's one.. I'm sorry.. It sucks the most!! HAahah.. And she was so upset!! Lolz..!!! And in another hour.. We were Home sweet Home... About time eh... Lolz.. Yupz.. Hope u enjoyed it!! SO glad I can share these beauty with my friends.. Have always been thinking of him, wishing that he could see the beautiful view I saw, Wanted to share every moment with him, SO he can also see the same beauty thru my eyes... ^^ Miss him...
